Describe how your Company Initiative Career Business is turning Africa problems into solutions in your community e.g. technology partnerships reach coverage:
The only antidote to fear is knowledge, this sentence has been a driving force for my curiosity to search and discover. As a medical professional delivering high standards of care is at the core of my being, yet this is challenging where resources are scars. Hence I have been working and collaborating with various initiative to deliver key concepts for self-directed knowledge acquisition to other health care workers around the continent, an example of this is the work I have been doing with fight cancer global over the past couple of years. The pandemic has taught us that while boarders might be closed, but our minds and efforts should come even closer. Henceforth, I have been volunteering my time to share updates about health care delivery in the time of confusion. During the time I have continued to be a proactive volunteer on the front lines. As the number of qualified health care workers is low, thus I strive to educate local communities with basics steps in care of patient who are not critically ill, in hopes to reallocate available resources to people who are in dire need of it.
How does the Company Initiative/Career/Business improve people’s life, impact, affordability and reliability?
As the old saying goes “to teach is to learn twice”, my work helps improve the well-being of others with simple measures and by educating the common folk about when to seek medical attention and who to prevent serious complications. In addition, to working with health care professionals to better help deliver high quality care with available limited resources. As I rely on most up dated medical knowledge from national and international institutions, the work we deliver is of high reliability. The major expense in such approach is my time, which I have been more than happy to provide for free.
How can this service product or solution be expanded to new markets or areas in Africa?
I think collaborating with like-minded individuals and seeking a platform to better publicize and distribute our educational material will sever the greater good, especially in such times where misinformation can predispose to situations that would have been easily avoided otherwise. I think collaborating with educational experts and experts in video editing, to make a YouTube channel would be a starting point.
