Describe how your Company Initiative Career Business is turning Africa problems into solutions in your community e g technology partnerships reach coverage: Our initiative allows us to solve several problems, the main ones of which are: – the low rate of food production: our company intends to raise the level of products and popularize the transformation of these to promote the consumption of products made in Africa – the lack of decent work: through our planned production chain which goes from the production of potatoes to their processing through the sorting stage, we employ a significant number of workers (men and women) to guarantee positive results.

How does the Company Initiative/Career/Business improve people’s life, impact, affordability and reliability?

People in rural areas have difficulty accessing quality training related to good agricultural practices and adequate raw materials, yet this activity is the main one practiced by them. These difficulties lead to poor performance and sometimes total losses in their production. Our project aims to set up an organization that will be responsible for selecting groups of families living in remote villages and having less than one hundrer fcfa per day to live. This selection will aim to teach them notions related to agricultural entrepreneurship and its outlines while offering them the minimum resources to launch a project that can allow them to generate continuous income.

How can this service product or solution be expanded to new markets or areas in Africa?

 The potato is a very prized commodity and difficult to access by certain social strata because of the rather high price on the market. Our company intends to produce potatoes throughout the year, both in the rainy season and in the dry season (we have already done an experiment). Also, we have already delivered our products to the Central African Republic and to Chad, with more production, it will be able to reach other countries because we have already created a reliable customer database.
