Describe how your Company/Initiative//Career/Business is turning Africa problems into solutions in your community e g technology partnerships reach coverage: I am the founder of Parkers mobile clinic, a home healthcare services organization which render healthcare services at the doorstep of elderly, disabled, chronically ill , vulnerable and people living in remote areas of Nigeria. We do this using a movable clinic equipped with health resources and health personnel that deliver the healthcare services at the doorstep of the target beneficiaries. Our project also involve community health outreaches and media outreaches through which we render healthcare services at the doorstep of the most remote communities in Nigeria. We partner with bigger NGOs and other organizations that provide us with the fund and health resources needed for our operations. We are solving the problem of poor accessibility of healthcare services among vulnerable in Nigeria and we have impacted positively on the lives of over 5000 people since we started operation in 2019. Through this project, we also create jobs for Community health workers.

How does the Company Initiative/Career/Business improve people’s life, impact, affordability and reliability?

We render healthcare services at the doorstep of elderly, disabled, marginalized and people living in remote areas of Nigeria. This group of people ordinarily have difficulty in accessing healthcare services, hence our organization provide an easy means for them to access quality and affordable healthcare services. Our community healthcare outreach services are usually free while our office based healthcare services for corporate organizations and very busy people comes with a subscription fee of 20 USD monthly.

How can this service product or solution be expanded to new markets or areas in Africa?

 Health sectors in many countries in Africa is really underfunded and usually doesn’t meet the need of the citizens. Hence, I believe our services will be highly needed in other countries in Africa. We are currently working on expanding to Cameroon and Sierra Leone through partnership with local organizations in these countries.
